Empowering Your Artistry

James is a trained actor and playwright with a background in both classical and contemporary theater. He studied at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and earned his BFA from Cornish College of the Arts, graduating with honors. Over the past 25 years, he has worked consistently on stage, taking on everything from new plays to American standards, and has spent just as much time behind the scenes writing, directing, and developing original work.

He believes good work starts with a desperate search for the truth. Whether on stage or on the page, his process begins with vulnerability and the willingness to fail in pursuit of something real. Writing and acting, for James, are both acts of exposure. The goal isn't polish. It's honesty. It's creating from the mess, the uncertainty, and the moments when nothing is guaranteed to work—except the effort to stay open and keep going.
